Tonna olearium (galea), commonly known as the giant tun, is a species of marine gastropod mollusc in the family Tonnidae. This very large sea snail or tun snail is found in the North Atlantic Ocean as far as the coast of West Africa, in the Mediterranean Sea and the Caribbean Sea.
25 limited edition, showcase the amazing technical combination of the 2 contact photographic processes: x-ray and cyanotype. The images are first created with x-ray film and then craft printed onto 300gsm archival paper, using the UV light from the sun. Every print is unique due to the bespoke nature of the application of the cyanope chemicals to the paper. The prints are archival double-mounted and framed behind non-reflective ARTGLASS AR 70. Each print is signed, dated, titled by the artist and is also supplied with a blockchain Certificate of Authenticity via Verisart.
